What Qualities Should Your Phoenix Wedding DJ Have?

We know how important it is that your wedding run smoothly and your guests have fun. So before booking a client, WE interview THEM to make sure we can give them everything they need. Here are some questions that we ask every bride and groom to make sure that we are the right DJ company for them.

Q: Do you want your guests to be able to hear the ceremony and vows by using an additional sound system not provided by your venue?

We provide a separate PA system that will allow all your distinguished guests to hear your entire ceremony. Part of the planning process is selecting all the music for your ceremony. We will assist you in selecting the right song for each part of your ceremony. We are capable of providing as many microphones needed for the officiant/pastor, bride and groom, singers, and for anyone giving a speech.

Q:  What do you look for in a Wedding DJ and Master of Ceremonies?

Your Arizona wedding is probably the most important and biggest party you will ever plan, so we want to make it perfect. As your Arizona Professional DJ and Master of Ceremonies, Chris will customize your entire wedding with you. He will make all necessary announcements including personalizing the Grand Introduction of your bridal party. We strive to entertain—as opposed to interrupt—guests to keep the ceremony classy and running smooth. Depending on the location of the wedding Chris will arrive 2 to 3 hours before the start of the event to ensure that there is enough time to properly place speakers, lighting, and uplighting. DMR Entertainment has built a strong relationship with photographers and videographers because of the quality of service and appearance at every wedding.

Q: If you haven”t hired a professional wedding coordinator, do you need the DJ to help you create and execute your wedding day timeline to make sure all of the introductions and announcements are made at the appropriate times? Are you going to count on them to ensure that the photographer and videographer are in place for elements like the toasts, cake cutting and first dance?

With every wedding that DMR Entertainment is contracted with, communication and planning is crucial. We strongly encourage our brides and grooms to provide us with a list of all of the vendors that are associated with the event. By doing so, we are able to communicate and create an accurate itinerary that covers all of key elements and events. As the Master of Ceremonies, it is Chris’ responsibility to inform all the designated vendors of the upcoming event.

Q: Have you done any prior research into DMR Wedding Entertainment?

A majority of DMR Wedding Entertainment’s clients are referrals from previous clients or other vendors. We highly encourage all of our potential clients do some research on our companies background, and to read all updated reviews either online or in person. We set the bar in the industry by having all necessary credentials to operate a successful business (license, insurance, and certifications).

After every wedding I schedule an appointment with the newleyweds to ask them to critique and tell me how important it was having me as their professional entertainment provider. I have never had a couple say to me that I wasn’t the right fit for them, because every one of my clients have done their homework and felt extrmemly comfortable from the moment we first met—either at a previous event ot from a referral.
