Why Hire a Professional Arizona Wedding DJ?

Planning a wedding is stressful. No ifs, ands, or buts about it. A wedding is often regarded as one of the most important days in someone’s life, so every decision is agonized over. When you finally do choose your venue, caterer, and entertainment option, you want to know that you’ve made the right choice. You want to feel the relief of knowing that someone else will be working towards making your wedding perfect, for both you and your guests.

How do you know you’ve chosen the right DJ? Well, there are some important qualities that make up a professional Wedding DJ.

A Professional Wedding DJ Will Bring You Peace of Mind

Once you hire a professional DJ for your wedding, there will be another person on your side helping plan your dream wedding. A Wedding DJ will work with you to create the perfect playlist to keep everyone on the dance floor and having fun.

A good Wedding DJ will think of everything—a back-up plan for the back-up plan. They will have additional sound systems to ensure not only a full dance floor, but a wedding ceremony that every guest can hear.

A Professional Wedding DJ Will Know How to Keep Things Running Smoothly

A professional Wedding DJ and Master of Ceremonies will work with you to create and execute your wedding day timeline, and make sure all of the introductions and announcements are made at the appropriate times. A professional DJ will keep introductions fun and classy, so that they entertain your guests—as opposed to interrupting them and disrupting the flow of the celebration. A good DJ will work with your photographer/videographer to ensure that the sound system is unobtrusive, so that it doesn’t look tacky in photos.

Remember, with each person you hire to help you plan your big day, you’re adding a new member to the team. They should work together to make sure that the party goes off without a hitch.

A Professional Wedding DJ Will Keep Everyone on the Dance Floor

Sometimes, the entertainment—or lack thereof—can make or break a reception. At the end of the night, you want everyone on the dance floor having a good time. You want your guests to look back on your wedding with (almost) as much happiness as you. If you choose the right Wedding DJ, they will.

Professional Wedding DJs and Masters of Ceremony will cost a bit more than amateurs. But with all of these perks, wouldn’t you say it’s worth it? Here is an article with some tips about hiring professional DJs and how much they should cost!

Wedding Planning Tips: Some Things to Consider

Let’s be honest, it’s hard to plan a wedding. As a Phoenix Wedding DJ and Master of Ceremonies, I’ve seen how difficult and stressful it can be. So every once in a while, I like to offer some wedding planning tips to anyone needing help. I also like to let them know how important a role the wedding DJ can play in making your big day a success!

1. Consistency is Key

The best weddings are focused— the design elements and atmosphere of your wedding should be cohesive and consistent when it comes to your ceremony and reception. This event will be attended by friends and family, so you don’t want it to resemble a three-ring circus (unless that’s your theme, of course)! Choices must be made and stuck to. Do you want a formal wedding? A fun and quirky wedding? A fun ceremony and formal reception might be a bit confusing for guests.

It’s easy to say that consistency is key, but I understand that sometimes this can be easier said than done. When you have to organize that many individual elements—right down to the napkins—it’s hard to make sure everything meshes together just right. However, if you hire the right people, they will take your vision and work together to create a masterpiece.

2. Have a Back-up Plan

For every decision you make about your wedding, there must be a contingency plan—especially if you’ve opted for an outdoor wedding. While beautiful, outdoor weddings have the added risk of being interrupted by some sort of natural disaster—and by natural disaster I mean rain or high heat. Even if you live in an area with fairly predictable weather, try and have a secondary, indoor venue available should the weather turn against you.

3. Have a Wedding DJ and Master of Ceremonies that can Help You

When it comes to consistency, let your Wedding DJ know what type of wedding your planning on having. Let them know what type of atmosphere you’re trying to create, and they can help you make this possible. Looking for a fun, lively wedding? Well, let’s pull out the fun, lively music! DMR Wedding Entertainment will work with you to ensure that your wedding stays focused and cohesive.
